OUR POLICIES

BOOKING:

 

For all photography sessions we require a non-refundable deposit and also serves as a cancellation fee, no exceptions. This fee covers initial communication, all planning, location hunting, and serves as your reservation booking. However deposits can be transferable upon approval under communicated circumstances. All remaining balances are due before the start of the session. 

Wedding packages $1,000 or less require a 50% deposit otherwise a 30% deposit is due immediately to reserve your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks before the date of the wedding.  This can be broken up into multiple payments however needed.

CANCELLATION:

 

We require a 7 day cancellation notice or client forfeits their deposit paid to book the session. If the client notifies under the allotted time, the deposit can be credited towards a future session only if the client reschedules within 7-14 days of original session date. If rescheduling more than 60 days out, a new deposit will be required.

For weddings and events, if for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the Photographer will keep the paid deposit as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be sent in writing, by text (336)-403-5009 or e-mail studios@dancinggrass.com. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within five months of the original event date.  If we are not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.

 

TARDINESS:

 

Please plan enough time to get to your session. Whether that is getting the kids ready or navigating through rush hour traffic. If you are running late, please call us. We respect every single client's time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling and planning a session, so please respect ours. If you have a 60 minute session scheduled and you are 20 minutes late, you will then have a 40 minute session. If you are more than 30 minutes late without calling, you will forfeit your deposit and we will have the right to cancel the session. We of course understand unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accidents. If we are late, we will communicate that with you and your session duration will not be affected.

 

CANCELLATION BY US:

If Dancing Grass Studios cannot perform duties in agreement due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.

Do you require a deposit?


Yes. 50% of your total balance is due to begin production or reserve a date and time. *If your total is less than $100, it must be paid in full. All sales are final, deposits are non-refundable but transferable depending on the service. Submitting payment, you agree to services quoted.

10-21 Business Days from the time we recieve all content from client. Time may decrease or increase depending on the amount of pages.

Do you offer Website Maintenance?


Yes, but we like to call it “Support plans” because we’re providing peace of mind and complete access to us with our website support plans. We offer a variety of plans to fit your business model. View Support Plans

Where do I send or drop off my products for product photography?


If you’re local we can schedule a time for an Artist to pick up your products, mailing if you're long distant or schedule a time to drop by our studio.




What's included with Logo Design + Branding?


Minimum of 3 custom concepts 3 allotted revisions Branding Guidelines Fonts + Color Pallette Files delivered as SVG, PNG, JPG (EPS Format upon request)




What is your floral delivery area?


Winston-Salem, Lewisville-Clemmons, Kernersville, Rural Hall, Pfafftown, High Point, Greensboro




Do you do weddings?


Yes, we offer a variety of wedding packages starting at $300 which includes 2 hours of photography, and an online gallery to choose 14 final edited photos. Additional photos can be purchased. Please fill out our contact form to provide you with a quote in 24 hours. (Weekends Excluded)




How do I pay?


For services we use paypal, Cash App: $dancinggrassllc, cash, or certified funds. You can purchase products and flowers through our online store.




Where are you located?


We’re based out of Winston Salem, but we travel wherever you need us to.




What are your Covid precautions?


Products are wiped down upon entering the studio and before exiting the studio. For all indoor photography, masks are worn at all times by all artists. If social distance is difficult outside, masks are worn. Most of our services are completed virtually.

Can I substitute Small Business Packages?

What is your refund policy?


All sales are final, deposits are non-refundable but transferable depending on the service. Submitting payment, you agree to services quoted.




Who owns my logo?


The client owns the rights to the FINAL logo choice. Any rejected/unused concepts are the sole property of Dancing Grass Studios LLC. The ownership/copyright of the logo doesn’t transfer to the client until the design has been paid for in full; up until then Dancing Grass Studios retain full ownership. Dancing Grass Studios retains personal rights to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of marketing Dancing Grass Studios’ business, abilities and portfolio.
